TEDxBaghdad Meets the Iraqi Media … Again!

Representatives of TEDxBaghdad Media Team met last week media anchormen, TV presenters and journalists in order to discuss the role of media coverage of TEDxBaghdad 2012.
The meeting took place on Thursday, August 30th, in Blue Café in Baghdad, with Marwan and Farah of TEDxBaghdad Media Team with Saif Al-Basha, an anchorman and TV show host, Ali Al-Jazairi, an activist in youth issues, Angham Al-Qaraghulli, a TV show hostess and an editor, Ahmed Al-Salihi, radio and TV show host and journalism expert, Ali Al-Sa’aidi, a journalist and an editor, and Ra’afat Kamil, a TV presenter and show host, and discussed the possibilities that TEDxBaghdad may benefit the Baghdadian community, and to choose the TEDxBaghdad 2012 host/hostess, as well as many other options.
The attendees agreed to share the TEDxBaghdad ideas and thoughts through their media channels, whether they were TV channels, radio stations, newspapers or NGOs, so as to reach far more audience, and also discussed the possibilities of having TEDxBaghdad team members as guests to their shows in order to deliver the ideas and initiatives of TEDxBaghdad on the air, and how these media channels participate in covering TEDxBaghdad 2012.
