The theme of TEDxBaghdad 2012 comes as a continuation of our debut theme in 2011, Making the Impossible Possible. Yahay AlAbdeli and his outstanding team achieved what the world thought impossible and created a successful TEDx conference in a city that everyone thought was not ready, we truly begin our work and true mission in 2012. Our attention shifts deeper towards new beginnings, practical solutions and success stories. Iraq remains the cradle of human civilization that has gone through many wars and conquests throughout the centuries, only to rebuild itself and emerge greater. The history and legacy of Iraq is far from over. In fact, we are writing history this very moment. In Iraq, everyday is a new beginning.
شعار تيداكس بغداد لعام ٢٠١٢ هو استمرارية لشعار العام الماضي “اجعل المستحيل ممكناً”. لقد حقق يحيى العبدلي العام الماضي مع فريقه المتميز ما ظنه العالم مستحيلاً وقدمنا مؤتمر تيداكس العالمي في مدينة ظنها الجميع غير مستعدة لهذا الحدث. في هذا العام، نبدأ عملنا ومهمتنا الحقيقية من خلال التركيز على البدايات الجديدة، الحلول العملية، وقصص النجاح الحقيقية. يبقى العراق مهد الحضارات الذي شهد على مر القرون الكثير من الدمار ليعود فيبني نفسه ويسمو أعظم مما كان. إن تاريخ وتراث العراق بعيد كل البعد عن النهاية، فالحقيقة هي إننا لا زلنا نسطر التاريخ في يومنا هذا، ففي العراق، كل يوم هو بداية جديدة.
